Job Overview:
We are seeking reliable Class A or Class B Truck Drivers to transport goods safely and efficiently across the Southwest region.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) safely and efficiently on highways and local roads.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and all required paperwork, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Basic mechanical skills to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
