Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods throughout Portland and surrounding areas
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adapt to dynamic schedules and route adjustments as needed
- Uphold strict safety standards and defensive driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Oregon transportation regulations and routes
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, and weekends
