Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in strict compliance with all DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight and balance requirements.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain equipment health.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and Hours of Service (HOS) records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding traffic conditions and delivery updates.
- Uphold a professional image and represent the company with integrity at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) on file.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 3 points and no major violations.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of DOT compliance, safety regulations, and cargo securement.
