Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A or B) safely and legally in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure equipment is road-ready.
- Load and secure cargo accurately to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD), mileage records, and delivery paperwork (Bills of Lading).
- Deliver freight on time to customers in Atlanta, GA, and surrounding Florida destinations.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, shippers, and receivers.
Qualifications
- Valid US Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and weight limits.
