Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) to transport freight safely and efficiently to various destinations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and cargo safety.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required paperwork.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads according to safety standards.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid CDL Class A license (or obtain one through our paid training program).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam (must meet medical standards).
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR check) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety and time management.
