As a key member of our fleet, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the Midwest while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans safely and efficiently to deliver freight on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle condition (DOT compliant).
- Interact professionally with customers and handle billing/invoicing paperwork accurately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (Commercial Driver's License) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
