Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to customer doorsteps in a timely and efficient manner.
- Unload parcels from the delivery van, ensuring they are handled with care and placed in the appropriate location.
- Interact professionally with customers, including obtaining signatures and providing excellent customer service.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and Amazon delivery policies and procedures.
- Manage package scanning and tracking to ensure accurate delivery records.
- Uphold company standards for safety, cleanliness, and efficiency at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Able to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging delivery data and checking routes.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cold.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
