As a Medical Courier, you will be the vital link between healthcare providers, ensuring that critical specimens and medical equipment are delivered securely and on time. We value our drivers and provide a supportive work environment with flexible scheduling options.
Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, lab samples, and equipment to and from healthcare facilities, hospitals, and laboratories in a timely and safe manner.
- Adhere to strict chain-of-custody protocols and maintain accurate logs for all deliveries.
- Ensure all equipment is properly packaged and handled to prevent damage or contamination.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Interact professionally with medical staff and patients while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Follow GPS navigation and route optimization instructions to maximize efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid state driver's license and a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations within the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and GPS navigation.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings and weekends if required.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
