Responsibilities
- Securely transport sensitive medical specimens (blood, tissue, cultures) and documents in strict compliance with HIPAA and CDC regulations.
- Maintain precise temperature control for temperature-sensitive items using company-provided equipment.
- Adhere to strict biohazard safety protocols and proper handling procedures.
- Execute efficient delivery routes with a focus on safety and time management.
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare professionals and patients at pickup and delivery points.
- Complete daily digital logs and vehicle inspection reports accurately.
- Uphold the company's image by maintaining a professional appearance and vehicle cleanliness.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) and a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Reliable personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage and current registration.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a sense of urgency.
- Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and checking emails.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings and weekends.
