Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and lab samples to and from hospitals, clinics, and laboratories within the New York metro area.
- Strictly adhere to cold chain protocols and temperature monitoring requirements to ensure specimen integrity.
- Complete all delivery paperwork and electronic logs accurately and on time.
- Interact professionally and courteously with patients, hospital staff, and medical personnel.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the assigned vehicle and medical equipment.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies at all times.
- Perform light maintenance checks on the vehicle before each shift.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry medical equipment weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical examination.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service attitude.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging and reporting.
