As a Medical Courier, you play a critical role in the healthcare supply chain, ensuring that vital specimens, pharmaceuticals, and documents reach their destinations safely and on time.
Responsibilities
- Deliver medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and critical documents to hospitals, laboratories, and clinics across the Raleigh metro area.
- Ensure all deliveries are made in strict adherence to HIPAA privacy regulations and safety protocols.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Update delivery status in real-time tracking systems to ensure client transparency.
- Handle package handling with care to prevent damage or contamination of sensitive medical materials.
- Interact professionally with healthcare staff and patients in a courteous and respectful manner.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 5 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Proficient with mobile technology for GPS navigation and electronic signature capture.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and safety standards is a plus.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
