Responsibilities
- Transportation: Safely and efficiently transport medical specimens, lab results, and pharmaceuticals from collection sites to medical facilities.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and professional vehicle appearance; perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict DOT regulations, HIPAA guidelines, and company safety protocols at all times.
- Documentation: Complete daily logs, delivery receipts, and digital paperwork accurately and on time.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to healthcare providers, patients, and internal team members.
- Route Management: Navigate efficiently to ensure timely deliveries and pickups while minimizing fuel consumption.
- Asset Protection: Handle valuable and sensitive medical equipment and specimens with the utmost care and discretion.
Qualifications
- Driver's License: Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly; ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Reliability: Strong history of punctuality and time management; available for shifts as needed.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Technology: Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and accessing route apps.
- Vehicle: Reliable personal transportation or ability to obtain one quickly (if using own vehicle).
