Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates across job sites
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Load/unload materials efficiently using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all transportation activities
- Adhere to DOT regulations, company policies, and site-specific safety requirements
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, site supervisors, and team members
- Assist with minor equipment repairs and report maintenance issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake endorsement
- Minimum 1 year of dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation to reporting locations in Durham County
