Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks in a safe and efficient manner on designated routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper securement and handling of freight.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and adhere to all Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Uphold company policies regarding customer service, safety, and driving regulations.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A (or willingness to obtain via our paid training program).
- Current Medical Card (DOT compliant).
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform basic vehicle troubleshooting.
