Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight delivery in Atlanta metro area
- Maintain DOT compliance logs, inspections, and required documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and load optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery/pickup interactions
- Manage truck maintenance schedules and ensure road-readiness
- Uphold strict delivery time windows and freight security protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience in commercial freight
- DOT medical certification and current physical card
- Reliable box truck (26,000+ GVWR) meeting DOT standards
- Proof of commercial auto liability insurance ($1M+ coverage)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate loading equipment
- Smartphone with GPS and reliable communication tools
