Responsibilities
- Operate Class B box trucks safely and efficiently on local and regional delivery routes.
- Load and unload freight, adhering to safety protocols and minimizing damage.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers within the San Francisco metro area.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections (DVIR) and maintain accurate logbooks (EOBR).
- Handle all necessary paperwork, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Maintain a clean professional image and excellent customer service standards.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and current DOT medical card.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable box truck driving experience.
- Ownership of a 24-26ft box truck (Class A/B) or ability to lease a company truck.
- Excellent driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
