Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, or merchandise to local DC addresses
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely arrivals
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Inspect and maintain delivery vehicles for safety and cleanliness
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage inventory and handle returns as needed
- Adhere to all DC traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid DC driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or commercial driver
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shift
- Strong knowledge of Washington, DC streets and landmarks
- Reliable smartphone with GPS and data capabilities
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
