Role Overview:
As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of packages and freight to local customers. You will represent our brand with a professional demeanor and ensure that all delivery protocols are met efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans to transport goods to designated locations within the Colorado Springs metro area.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the interior of the van and the delivery vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent commercial driving permit.
- Clean driving record with no major infractions.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of local roads, traffic patterns, and geography in Colorado Springs.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging delivery data.
