Responsibilities
- Transport and deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in a safe and timely manner.
- Obtain proper signatures and confirm delivery details for every package.
- Inspect packages for damage before and after transit and report any issues immediately.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and adhere to all company appearance standards.
- Utilize company software or handheld devices to track routes and update delivery statuses.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers at every stop.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating a vehicle.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle (personal car or company vehicle provided).
- Proficiency with smartphones and GPS navigation apps.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle unexpected route changes.
- Basic English proficiency for communication with dispatch and customers.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
