Responsibilities
- Efficient Delivery: Transport packages to residential and commercial addresses in the Sacramento area within agreed-upon time windows.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, ensuring a positive unboxing experience.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and electronic proof of delivery (POD) using mobile apps.
- Route Optimization: Plan the most efficient routes to minimize fuel consumption and travel time.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent state driver's license.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Technology: Proficiency with smartphone applications for navigation and logging.
