Responsibilities
- Transport packages and documents to designated addresses in a safe and timely manner.
- Ensure the safety and security of all goods in transit throughout the delivery route.
- Provide excellent customer service and answer any questions regarding deliveries.
- Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle for cleanliness and mechanical issues before and after shifts.
- Complete necessary paperwork, including logs, delivery receipts, and vehicle checks.
- Navigate effectively using GPS and mapping applications to optimize routes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to meet strict delivery windows.
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for commercial delivery (van or box truck preferred).
- Basic proficiency with mobile technology and navigation apps.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
