Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial locations in San Jose and surrounding areas in a safe and timely manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Practice excellent customer service when interacting with clients.
- Load and unload merchandise from the delivery vehicle using proper lifting techniques.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Follow all traffic laws and company driving policies to ensure a safe journey.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) and a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and smartphones.
- Reliable transportation and a valid vehicle registration.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
