Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and goods to designated residential and commercial addresses throughout Albuquerque.
- Interact professionally with customers, verifying delivery details and obtaining necessary signatures.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring cargo is organized, secure, and handled with care.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Utilize handheld delivery management apps to track routes, update status, and log hours accurately.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and local regulations.
- Report any delivery issues or vehicle maintenance needs to the management team immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or a standard State Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and mobile technology.
- Professional appearance and a customer-service-oriented attitude.
- Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Albuquerque, NM.
