Responsibilities
- Pick up, organize, and deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within the Portland metro area.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain proper signatures from recipients.
- Ensure the safe handling of all packages to prevent damage during transit.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and ensure the delivery truck remains clean and organized.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Handle cash or digital payment transactions accurately and report discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems and smartphone apps.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
