Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery van to transport packages to customer locations in Bakersfield and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring all items are handled with care and integrity.
- Interact professionally with customers, resolving any delivery issues or questions with a smile.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and Amazon operational policies.
- Manage time effectively to meet daily delivery targets and schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or a valid State Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills for scanning and tracking packages.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
