Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles on assigned routes within Cincinnati and the surrounding areas.
- Deliver products to customers in a professional, timely, and courteous manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Load and unload merchandise from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling and organization.
- Inspect vehicles daily for cleanliness and mechanical issues, reporting any problems to management immediately.
- Verify and collect payments or obtain signatures for delivered goods when required.
- Utilize handheld devices and mobile apps to update delivery status and route information accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all company safety policies and regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred but not always required for local routes.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate unfamiliar areas using GPS and maps.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact professionally with customers.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
