Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial addresses
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Coordinate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
- Secure cargo during transit to prevent damage or loss
Qualifications
- Valid Washington State driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Seattle metropolitan roadways
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for delivery tracking systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
