Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe and efficient manner at all times.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle readiness and safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo according to safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery records.
- Ensure the security of cargo and adherence to all DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel regarding routes and schedules.
- Uphold company policies regarding professional conduct and appearance.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
