Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages and food orders to residential and commercial addresses using company-provided vehicles
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and delays
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (less than 2 violations in 3 years)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication apps
- Strong time-management skills with ability to meet delivery deadlines
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle various package sizes
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Reliable transportation to and from the San Francisco depot
