Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks across regional routes with on-time deliveries
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and load management
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety procedures
- Resolve delivery exceptions and maintain clear customer communication
- Perform minor preventative maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Philadelphia metro area and Northeast corridor
- Basic understanding of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for occasional overnight stays as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
