Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A or B) on designated routes throughout Phoenix and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or pallet jacks, ensuring weight distribution and cargo security.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork, including delivery receipts and mileage records.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring packages are delivered on time and in perfect condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company driving policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current DOT Medical Card and valid DOT physical.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of Phoenix, AZ roadways and traffic patterns.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor vehicle maintenance if needed.
