Responsibilities
- Safely operate passenger/cargo vans on designated routes throughout Washington DC metropolitan area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness/maintenance logs
- Load/unload materials with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service to passengers and clients
- Manage route efficiency using GPS navigation and real-time traffic updates
- Complete accurate delivery manifests and paperwork documentation
- Report mechanical issues and coordinate vehicle maintenance promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience in commercial vehicles
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Washington DC geography and traffic patterns
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic proficiency in using navigation and fleet management systems
