Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight to designated locations within the DC metro area
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading when required
- Operate GPS systems for efficient routing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of DC metropolitan area roadways
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Flexibility for early morning/late night shifts
