Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery records.
- Navigate routes efficiently to meet delivery deadlines and customer expectations.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) with a clean MVR record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial vehicle.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety protocols, and vehicle maintenance.
- Excellent physical stamina for loading, unloading, and long-haul driving.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime shifts.
