Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers.
- Report any mechanical issues immediately to fleet management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR or regional driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of DOT/HOS regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours and meet delivery deadlines.
