Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) on assigned routes throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and cargo safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight securely using proper tie-down techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and comply with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to strict safety policies and provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch to optimize routing and delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience (OTR or Local).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo handling.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to submit to a drug screen and background check.
