Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and time-sensitive pharmaceuticals via climate-controlled vehicles
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and chain-of-custody documentation for all medical materials
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time arrivals at medical facilities
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of transport equipment
- Communicate delivery status and exceptions via mobile tracking system in real-time
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges and reroute when necessary
Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and navigate medical facility layouts safely
- Experience with temperature-controlled transport or medical logistics preferred
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to strict time-sensitive protocols
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and specimen handling procedures
- Proficient in mobile technology for route navigation and status reporting
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
