Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, lab samples, and pharmaceuticals safely and securely to medical facilities.
- Adhere to strict HIPAA regulations and maintain the confidentiality of all patient data.
- Navigate Oakland efficiently to ensure on-time delivery for urgent medical needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully operational delivery vehicle.
- Handle package handling with extreme care to ensure integrity and prevent damage.
- Log deliveries accurately using handheld devices or mobile applications.
- Communicate professionally with medical staff, patients, and dispatch teams.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major infractions).
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle check.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor at all times.
- Basic computer skills for logging delivery data.
- Physical stamina to lift packages (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
