Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, lab samples, and pharmaceuticals to hospitals, clinics, and testing facilities across the Detroit metro area.
- Ensure the safe handling and timely delivery of all medical equipment and supplies.
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations, temperature control standards, and safety protocols.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the delivery equipment is in proper working condition.
- Update delivery status in real-time using our dispatch tracking software.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record.
- Assist in loading and unloading packages securely and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) and a clean driving record (no major violations).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Physical ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation and mobile apps is preferred.
- Flexibility to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
