Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and lab supplies between hospitals, clinics, and testing facilities
- Maintain strict temperature control for sensitive materials during transit
- Accurately document and track shipments using our digital tracking system
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for patient information security
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with medical staff for time-sensitive deliveries and pickups
Qualifications
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous courier or delivery experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Baltimore metro area geography
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate stairs with equipment
- Basic computer skills for shipment documentation
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
