Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A or B) following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure DOT compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads against shifting.
- Maintain accurate logs and records as required by federal and state regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Uphold the company's high standards of customer service and professional conduct.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
