Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in and around the New Orleans metro area and surrounding regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety compliance and identify any mechanical issues.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling as required.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and billing documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading and unloading processes.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT medical card) or ability to obtain one.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
