Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, including sand, gravel, and dirt.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and ensure all driving hours comply with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload materials using winches and other loading equipment as needed.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and site foremen to coordinate schedules.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, OSHA safety standards, and company protocols.
- Keep the cab and truck bed clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable experience driving dump trucks or heavy haul trucks.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a mandatory drug screen and background check.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
