Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) in a safe and timely manner.
- Load and unload cargo using proper safety equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT/HOS) and comply with all traffic laws.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
- Uphold company standards for cleanliness and vehicle maintenance.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen.
- Ability to lift and handle freight weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
