Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment on construction sites and public roads
- Transport construction materials (gravel, sand, asphalt, demolition debris)
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Collaborate with site supervisors and team members
- Manage loading/unloading operations efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck or heavy equipment experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and physical screening
- Knowledge of Philadelphia area routes and traffic patterns
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
