Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to deliver freight to customers in Stockton and surrounding areas in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and strictly adhere to all DOT regulations and traffic laws.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries, resolving any issues professionally.
- Keep the truck cab and cargo area clean, organized, and free of debris.
- Submit all required paperwork and documentation accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no DUIs or major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Familiarity with ELD systems and logistics software is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
