Responsibilities
- Safely operate assigned CDL Class A tractor-trailer units on dedicated regional routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections, documentation, and post-trip vehicle maintenance checks
- Load/unload freight using provided equipment and adhere to safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Represent TransTex Freight Solutions with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year tractor-trailer experience with regional or OTR background
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading/unloading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overnight trips
- Pass background check and drug screening (company-paid)
