Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment on urban and construction routes
- Transport construction materials (asphalt, gravel, debris) to designated sites
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and pre/post-trip safety checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with site supervisors and project managers for timely deliveries
- Adhere to DOT regulations and NYC traffic protocols
- Assist with minor equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with tanker endorsement (NY State)
- Minimum 3 years commercial dump truck experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 5 years
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with NYC boroughs and construction zones
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
