Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials and debris to designated sites
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and local traffic laws in Metro Detroit area
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and meet delivery deadlines
- Assist with loading/unloading operations using proper safety protocols
- Document transportation activities and submit required paperwork
- Maintain clean, compliant, and well-functioning vehicles
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Michigan traffic laws and industrial zones
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Basic equipment troubleshooting skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and weather-dependent shifts
