Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53ft dry van) on overnight routes
- Load/unload freight with precision using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance logs
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and adhere to HOS regulations
- Deliver freight to distribution centers on strict schedules
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Implement defensive driving practices in all weather conditions
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- 2+ years verifiable OTR or regional driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Texas roadways and delivery protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic forklift certification preferred
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
